Pre-production is underway for The View, the debut feature film by Marene van Holk, produced by Mastaneh Mohajer. Set in a remote, near-future village where routine has replaced resistance, the film follows a silent rebellion that slowly takes form. With a poetic visual language and restrained emotional charge, The View is a haunting meditation on control, memory, and the quiet courage to imagine otherwise. Developed in collaboration with Virgule FPAC, the project is currently in the casting and development phase.
